How to share Files

To share a File or Files from Starchive, take the following actions:

1. Select the File or Files that you want to share 
2. Right click on the selected File(s) to open the file menu
3. Click Share 
4. By default, the share settings are view-only. If you want to enable download, click on the "allow download" toggle 
5. Click the Copy Link button to copy the link 
6. Share the copied link with whomever you would like to share the File(s) with, they can use the link to access the File(s) in the Starchive share player

Note: Share links are viewable by anyone who has the link. Starchive members are responsible for the privacy of all shared media. Your shared links are all stored. Under your account's menu, you can manage your shared links.

Can I share a Collection? You can share Files from a Collection. To do so, click on the Collection name so that the Files in the Collection appear in results, then follow the same steps listed above.

Can I share a Folder? You can share Files from a Folder. To do so, click on the Folder so that the Files in the Folder appear in the results, then follow the steps listed above for sharing Files.
